GraceWork Market Terms and Conditions
(Applies to both Buyers and GraceWorkers)
1. Introduction
GraceWork Market (the “Platform”) is operated by EverLight LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company, using the business name “GraceWork Market.”
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between all users of GraceWork Market, including individuals seeking services (“Buyers”) and individuals offering services (“GraceWorkers”).
By accessing, booking through, or providing services on GraceWork Market, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Purpose of GraceWork Market
GraceWork Market exists to provide a simple platform to connect Buyers with GraceWorkers who offer their services with excellence, humility, and love. GraceWork Market does not provide the services directly but facilitates connections between independent parties.
3. The GraceWork Code
All GraceWorkers agree to uphold the following code of conduct, which is also visible to all Buyers:
The GraceWork Code
A commitment to serve with integrity, humility, and love.
As a GraceWorker, I commit to the following:
- I serve with joy, patience, and excellence—knowing that work, done in love, is worship.
- I show up faithfully and communicate clearly, respecting others’ time and trust.
- I honor every home and person I serve as a sacred space—treating each with gentleness and care.
- I receive compensation with gratitude, while knowing it is God who provides.
- I walk in humility, knowing I am a servant first.
- I do not promote myself with pride, but let my work speak for itself.
- I welcome prayer, when offered, and I commit to praying for those I serve—quietly, without obligation.
- I strive to grow, learning and refining my skills so that my hands remain useful and my heart stays tender.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” — 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)
By joining GraceWork Market, I affirm this code and welcome the accountability and community that comes with it.
4. Booking and Payment
- GraceWork Market provides a secure platform to facilitate service bookings and payments. Some services may require a deposit at the time of booking, while others may be reserved without an initial payment, depending on the nature of the service.
- The remaining balance for services may be paid securely online at the time of service or directly in person at the venue, as agreed between the Buyer and the GraceWorker.
- Payments processed through GraceWork Market are subject to Stripe’s standard processing fees (currently 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction).
- GraceWork Market retains a flat platform fee of 1.99% of the total Buyer payment to support the ongoing ministry of connecting gifted servants with those in need.
- If a service is booked through GraceWork Market but the final payment is completed directly between Buyer and GraceWorker (for example, in person by cash or other means), the GraceWorker agrees to honor the ministry by remitting the 1.99% platform fee based on the full agreed service amount.
- The platform fee applies to all services acquired or initiated through GraceWork Market, regardless of where the final payment is completed.
- GraceWorkers are entrusted with the responsibility of reporting and remitting applicable fees for off-site payments, walking faithfully in the stewardship of their role.
Example:
- Scenario 1:
If a Buyer books and pays the full amount of $100.00 through GraceWork Market at the time of booking:- Stripe deducts approximately $3.20 in processing fees,
- GraceWork Market retains $1.99 as the platform fee,
- The remaining approximately $94.81 is paid to the GraceWorker.
- Scenario 2:
If a Buyer books through GraceWork Market but pays the balance of $100.00 later directly to the GraceWorker (for example, by cash or other means):- The GraceWorker is responsible for remitting $1.99 to GraceWork Market based on the total service amount.
5. Responsibility for Services
- GraceWorkers are solely responsible for providing the services they offer through GraceWork Market.
- GraceWork Market does not supervise, direct, or control the performance or quality of services.
- Buyers are responsible for communicating directly with the GraceWorker for service-related details.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation and refund policies are subject to the GraceWorker’s individual terms unless otherwise stated at booking.
- GraceWork Market may assist in communication but does not guarantee refunds unless legally required.
7. Limitation of Liability
GraceWork Market shall not be held liable for:
- The performance, outcome, or quality of services provided by GraceWorkers.
- Any injuries, damages, losses, or dissatisfaction resulting from services booked through the platform.
- Any disputes arising between Buyers and GraceWorkers.
